Janice M. Palmer

Janice Palmer was born in Greeley, Colorado. She has lived in Arizona since 1971.

She was admitted to the Arizona State Bar in 1983. Ms. Palmer gained experience practicing with other law firms and has had her own law firm since 1989. Ms Palmer then established the Law Offices of Janice M. Palmer, P. C. in 1991.

Ms. Palmer is licensed to practice before the Arizona Superior Court, U.S. District Court, District of Arizona; U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.

Janice attended Arizona State University and received her B.S., summa cum laude in 1979 and her J.D., in 1982.

Ms. Palmer is a member of the East Valley and Maricopa County Bar Associations and the State Bar of Arizona.

Steven T. Augenstein

Steven Augenstein received his B.A. from Antioch College in 1974 and his J.D. from Western New England College in 1979.

Steven has had extensive experience for over 25 years in collection matters, including both retail and commercial collection. This has included everything from demand letters to litigation, garnishment, execution and appeals. Mr. Augenstein has worked with this firm for over ten years. He is a great asset to our office, both with his knowledge and his experience. Additionally, he teaches business law and intro to computer at the university level.

Beth A. Chafey

Beth Chafey was born in Massachusetts and graduated from Deering High School in Portland, Maine. She has lived in Arizona since 1978.

Beth is our paralegal/legal assistant and has over twenty years experience working in a law office. Beth has worked for the Law Offices of Janice M. Palmer, P.C. since 1994. Beth holds a very integral position in our office and works closely with clients to assure all information is accurate and all details are included in any documents that are drafted.

Donna L. Schumacher

Donna Schumacher was born in upstate New York. She attended high school in both Colorado and California before graduating here in the valley. Donna attended Mesa Community College part-time before marrying and raising her three children.

Donna is our Receptionist/Legal Secretary and all around “Girl Friday”. She is the one whose voice you will come to know when you call our office. She will likely handle most general questions or make your appointments for you. Donna has been working in a law office for fourteen years and for the Law Offices of Janice M. Palmer since 1993.
