Collection Matters The Law Offices of Janice M. Palmer, P.C. has practiced in the area of collections for the past ten years. We will represent creditors and debtors. We have handled large volume collection matters for collection companies. Our office handles all aspects of collections, from initial demand letters to filing the lawsuit, obtaining a judgment and all post judgment collection procedures, including garnishments, debtor’s exams, executions and foreign judgments. Many collection matters are handled on a “contingency fee arrangement.” This means that Ms. Palmer does not get paid unless money is actually collected. In addition, there may be costs associated with filing and those costs are paid by the client. The costs will be added to the amounts collected as allowed by law and returned to the client if funds are collected.
